What sigmadev.digital collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
This site is run by SigmaDev Digital, a business registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission (BN 8969161) (“SigmaDev Digital”, “we”). For anything in this policy, email info@sigmadev.digital.
What we collect
- Messages and briefs you send us through the contact or consultation forms: your name, email address, organisation, phone number if you give it, and what you write.
- Orders and accounts when you buy Pro tools or another product: your name, email address, billing details you enter, what you bought and when. Card and bank details are entered on the payment provider’s page and never reach us.
- Usage of the site, with our own cookieless analytics: the page visited, the referring site’s domain, a broad device type, the country if our network provider supplies it, the time, and for tools, which tool was used and whether it produced a result. Nothing you type into a tool is recorded.
- Security logs: the IP address and time of failed sign-in attempts and of form submissions, kept briefly to stop abuse.
What the tools do with your data
The free and Pro tools run in your browser. What you type into them stays on your device and is not sent to us, except for the few tools that say on the page that they fetch something on your behalf (such as checking a website address you enter).
Cookies
We set cookies only where the site needs them to work: to keep you signed in, to remember what is in your cart and to remember your Pro access. You can see and change your cookie choices at any time from the cookie settings link on the site. Our analytics use no cookies.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paystack, and by Stripe where it is offered at checkout. They receive the payment details you enter under their own privacy policies; we receive confirmation of the payment and the details needed for your order and receipt.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, quote for and carry out work you ask for.
- To process orders, give you access to what you bought and send receipts.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which pages and tools are useful.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We share it only with the services that run the site and process payments (our hosting, email, Paystack and Stripe), with professional advisers where needed, and with authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Messages and briefs are kept while the conversation or project is active and then for as long as it is commercially relevant. Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Security logs are deleted within weeks. Analytics records hold no personal details.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies to you, the GDPR, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@sigmadev.digital and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This site and its products are not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
